यासंदर्भात आज दि.७ रोजी अंबादास दानवे, विरोधी पक्ष नेता, विधानपरिषद यांनी पोलीस आयुक्त यांना दिलेल्या लेखी तक्रारीनुसार, त्यांचे मोबाईलवर मारोती ढाकणे असे नांव सांगणाऱ्या इसमाने मतदान केंद्रात निवडणुकीत वापरण्यात येणाऱ्या ई व्ही एम मशीनला माझ्याकडील विशिष्ट प्रकारची चीप बसवुन तुमच्या उमेदवारास जास्तीत जास्त मतदान करून देतो असा बहाणा करून त्या मोबदल्यात मला अडीच कोटी रूपये द्यावे लागतील, असे सांगितले. या प्रकरणाचे गांभीय लक्षात घेवुन पोलीस आयुक्त मनोज लोहिया यांनी तात्काळ पोलीस निरीक्षक संभाजी पवार, आर्थिक गुन्हे शाखा यांच्या नेतृत्वात विशेष पथक नेमून हे पथक राजेंद्र दानवे यांचे सोबत रवाना केले.
आज दुपारी चार वाजेच्या सुमारास सदर इसम मारोती ढाकणे यांने राजेंद्र दानवे यांना मध्यवर्ती बस स्थानक समोरील हॉटेल न्यू मॉडर्न टि हाऊस स्विट अॅण्ड स्नॅक्स, छत्रपती संभाजीनगर येथे बोलविले होते. या ठिकाणी राजेंद्र दानवे, साध्या गणवेषातील पोलीस पथक व पंच असे सापळा लावुन थांबलेले असतांना मारूती ढाकणे हा त्या ठिकाणी आला. त्याने राजेंद्र दानवे यांना सांगितले कि, माझ्याकडे एक विशिष्ट प्रकारची चीप असुन दिनांक 13/05/2024 रोजी मतदानाच्या दिवशी विशिष्ट प्रकारची चिप मतदान केंद्रामध्ये जावुन EVM मशीनला बसविण्याची व्यवस्था करतो. त्यामुळे फक्त तुमच्याच उमेदवारास जास्तीत जास्त मतदान मिळेल,असे सांगुन मोबाईलवर संभाषणात ठरल्याप्रमाणे अडीच कोटी रूपयांपैकी तडजोडीअंती दीड कोटी रुपयांची मागणी करून आज टोकन रक्कम म्हणुन एक लाख रूपयांची मागणी केली. त्याप्रमाणे राजेंद्र दानवे यांच्याकडुन त्याने एक लाख रुपये स्वीकारतांना पंचासमक्ष सापळा लावुन बसलेल्या साध्या वेशातील पोलीस पथकाने रंगेहाथ पकडले. या इसमाचे त्याचे पुर्ण नाव मारोती नाथा ढाकणे, वय-42 वर्षे, व्यवसाय- आर्मी हवालदार, उदमपुर, जम्मु, रा. काटेवाडी, पो. खरवंडी कासार, ता. पाथर्डी जि. अहमदनगर असे त्याने सांगितले. या इसमास ताब्यात घेवुन पुढील कायदेशीर कार्यवाहीची प्रक्रिया सुरु आहे.
