मुंबई : भारत निवडणूक आयोगाच्या निर्देशानुसार मतदारयाद्यांचे विशेष संक्षिप्त पुनरिक्षण-२०२४ राबविण्यात येत आहे. त्या अंतर्गत मतदान केंद्रांचे सुसूत्रीकरण करण्यात येत आहेत. त्या अनुषंगाने मुख्य निवडणूक अधिकारी यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली मान्यताप्राप्त राजकीय पक्षांच्या प्रतिनिधींची बैठक झाली. या बैठकीत भारत निवडणूक आयोगाच्या सूचना तसेच राजकीय पक्षांकडून प्राप्त सूचना विचारात घेऊन मतदान केंद्रांच्या सुसूत्रीकरणाच्या संदर्भात विविध सूचना जिल्हाधिकारी तथा जिल्हा निवडणूक अधिकारी यांना देण्यात आल्या आहेत.
या बैठकीत भारत निवडणूक आयोगाच्या निकषानुसार एका मतदान केंद्रावर १५०० पर्यंत मतदार ठेवण्याबाबत सूचना असल्याने जास्त मतदार असलेल्या मतदान केंद्रांची विभागणी करुन नवीन मतदान केंद्र तयार करावे. नवीन मतदान केंद्र त्याच इमारतीमध्ये असणे आवश्यक आहेत. ज्या इमारतीमध्ये एका पेक्षा जास्त मतदान केंद्रे असतील व अशा मतदान केंद्रांची संबंधित मतदारांची संख्या मोठ्या प्रमाणात असमान असेल, अशा प्रकरणी वाढीव मतदार असलेल्या मतदान केंद्राचे वाढीव मतदार स्थलांतरित करताना विशेष दक्षता घ्यावी. तेथे नवीन मतदान केंद्र तयार करावे किंवा वाढीव मतदार त्याच इमारतीतील अन्य केंद्रांमध्ये स्थलांतरित करावे. वाढीव मतदार दुस-या इमारतीतील कोणत्याही मतदान केंद्रास जोडू नयेत. तसेच असे स्थलांतरण करताना सर्वसाधारणतः वस्ती/मोहल्लामधील मतदार एकत्र राहतील तसेच कुटुंब विभागले जाणार नाही याची दक्षता घ्यावी. भौगोलिक सलगता कायम राहील याचीही दक्षता घ्यावी.
विविध सूचना विचारात घेऊन तयार केलेल्या प्रस्तावाच्या अनुषंगाने मतदान नोंदणी अधिकारी यांच्यास्तरावर राजकीय पक्षांची बैठक तत्काळ घेऊन त्यांच्याशी सल्लामसलत करुन आवश्यकतेनुसार प्रस्ताव तयार करावेत/सुधारित करावेत, अशा सूचना यावेळी देण्यात आल्याचे प्रशांत नावगे, अवर सचिव, मुख्य निवडणूक अधिकारी यांचे कार्यालय, मुंबई यांनी प्रसिद्धीस दिलेल्या पत्रकान्वये कळविले आहे
