पारशी समुदायासह केंद्रीय अल्पसंख्याक मंत्री साधणार संवाद
मुंबई : केंद्र शासनाच्या अल्पसंख्याक कार्य मंत्रालयाद्वारे यशवंतराव चव्हाण प्रतिष्ठान सभागृह मुंबई येथे शनिवार 14 सप्टेंबर 2024 रोजी सकाळी 11.00 ते दु. 3.30 वाजेपर्यंत जिओ पारसी कार्यशाळेचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. यावेळी केंद्रीय अल्पसंख्याक व्यवहार मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू, राज्याचे अल्पसंख्याक विकास मंत्री अब्दुल सत्तार हे समुदायाशी संवाद साधणार आहेत.
पारशी लोकसंख्या स्थिर करण्यासाठी आणि भारतातील पारशी लोकसंख्या वाढवण्याच्या उद्देशाने केंद्राने जिओ पारसी योजना सुरू केली. पारशी जोडप्यांना वैद्यकीय आणि समुदायाचे आरोग्य (HOC) घटकांतर्गत आर्थिक सहाय्य प्रदान करण्यात येते. राज्य शासनाद्वारे बायोमेट्रिक प्रमाणीकरण आणि इतर पडताळणीनंतर योजनेतील मदत थेट लाभ हस्तांतरण (DBT) मोडद्वारे नागरिकांना जारी केली जात आहे. योजनेची माहिती समुदायातील जास्तीत जास्त नागरिकांपर्यंत पोहोचावी यासाठी कार्यशाळेचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे.
पारशी मुख्य धर्मोपदेशक उदवाडाचे श्री. दस्तूरजी आणि राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्याक आयोगाचे अध्यक्ष इकबाल सिंह लालपुरा, उपाध्यक्ष केरसी के.देबू उपस्थित राहणार आहेत. पारशी समुदायातील नागरिकांनी यांचा लाभ घ्यावा असे आवाहन अल्पसंख्याक विकास विभागाने केले आहे.
