मुंबई : लोकसभा सार्वत्रिक निवडणुकीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर मुंबई शहर व मुंबई उपनगर जिल्ह्यातील कायदा व सुव्यवस्थेसंदर्भात सह्याद्री अतिथीगृह येथे आढावा बैठक घेण्यात आली. या बैठकीत भारत निवडणूक आयोगाच्या मार्गदर्शक सूचनांनुसार आदर्श आचारसंहिता व कायदा सुव्यवस्थेबाबत आवश्यक त्या उपाययोजना करून दक्षता घेण्याचे निर्देश मुंबई शहर जिल्हाधिकारी तथा जिल्हा निवडणूक अधिकारी संजय यादव, मुंबई उपनगर जिल्ह्याचे जिल्हाधिकारी तथा जिल्हा निवडणूक अधिकारी राजेंद्र क्षीरसागर यांनी संबंधित अधिकाऱ्यांना दिले.
या बैठकीस पोलीस सह आयुक्त (कायदा व सुव्यवस्था) सत्यनारायण चौधरी, दक्षिण मध्य मुंबई लोकसभा मतदारसंघ निवडणूक निर्णय अधिकारी विकास पानसरे, दक्षिण मुंबई लोकसभा मतदारसंघ निवडणूक निर्णय अधिकारी रवि कटकधोंड, निवडणूक निर्णय अधिकारी वंदना सूर्यवंशी, सोनाली मुळये, पंकज देवरे, डॉ. दादाराव दातकर, अतिरिक्त पोलीस आयुक्त अभिनव देशमुख, अनिल पारस्कर, डॉ. महेश पाटील, राजीव जैन, मुंबई शहराचे उपजिल्हाधिकारी तथा उपजिल्हा निवडणूक अधिकारी श्यामसुंदर सुरवसे, मुंबई शहर व उपनगर जिल्ह्यातील सहायक निवडणूक निर्णय अधिकारी, पोलीस विभागातील वरिष्ठ अधिकारी आदी उपस्थित होते.
कायदा व सुव्यवस्थेसंदर्भात झालेल्या बैठकीत सुरक्षा तैनातीचे नियोजन, स्ट्राँग रूम सुरक्षा व्यवस्था, मतदान केंद्रांच्या ठिकाणी ठेवण्यात येणारी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था, संवेदनशील मतदान केंद्रांची निश्चिती व संवाद नियोजन, मुंबईतील सर्व मतदान केंद्रांवर कायदा व सुव्यवस्था अबाधित राहावी यासाठी आवश्यक तो पोलीस बंदोबस्त याबाबत सविस्तर आढावा घेण्यात आला. कायदा-सुव्यवस्था व मुंबई शहर जिल्ह्यातील समन्वय अधिकाऱ्यांच्या आढावा बैठकीला भारत निवडणूक आयोगाने राज्यासाठी नियुक्त केलेले निवडणूक निरीक्षक धर्मेंद्र गंगवार, एम. के. मिश्रा यांनी उपस्थित राहून मार्गदर्शन केले.
नवमतदारांची अधिकाधिक नोंदणी करण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करावेत. लोकसंख्या अधिक असलेल्या मोठ्या गृहनिर्माण सोसायटीमध्ये नोंदणी, आशा वर्कर्स व स्वयंसेवकांच्या मदतीने मतदार नोंदणी मॉनिटरिंग करून मतदाराला कमी वेळेत व व्यवस्थितपणे मतदान करता येईल आणि मतदानाची टक्केवारी वाढेल यासाठी मतदान केंद्रांची रचना सुलभ पद्धतीने केली पाहिजे याबाबत निरीक्षकांनी मार्गदर्शन केले.
भारत निवडणूक आयोगाने लोकसभा निवडणुका मुक्त आणि निष्पक्ष पद्धतीने पार पाडण्यासाठी विविध उपाययोजना राबविल्या आहेत. निवडणूक कालावधीत समाजमाध्यमांवर निवडणूक संदर्भात चुकीच्या बातम्या प्रसारित होतात, याकडे विशेष लक्ष द्यावे. मतदानापूर्वी 48 तास आधी प्रचारास बंदी असते या वेळी समाज माध्यमातून बल्क संदेश (Bulk Message) सारखा प्रचार होण्याची शक्यता असते याकडे विशेष लक्ष द्यावे, मतदारांनी निष्पक्ष आणि निर्भिडपणे मतदान केले पाहिजे, याबाबत श्री. मिश्रा यांनी मार्गदर्शन केले.

लोकसभा निवडणूक 2024 च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर जिल्हाधिकारी तथा जिल्हा निवडणूक अधिकारी संजय यादव यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली समन्वय अधिकारी यांची आज सह्याद्री अतिथीगृह येथे आढावा बैठक घेण्यात आली.
मतदार माहिती पावती (VIS) डाऊनलोड करणे, ईव्हीएम वाटप करणे, वेबकास्टिंगसाठी मतदान केंद्रांची यादी, AMF (सर्व सोयी उपलब्ध आहेत, याची खात्री करणे), वाहतूक आराखडा तयार करणे, निवडणुकीसाठी सर्व वाहनांची आवश्यकता व मागणी, (एनजीपीएस) पोर्टलवरील तक्रारी निकाली काढणे, मतदानाची टक्केवारी वाढविण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करणे, अधिकारी व कर्मचारी यांची उपस्थिती या विषयांबाबत सहाय्यक निवडणूक निर्णय अधिकारी यांच्या समवेत आढावा घेण्यात आला.
